WHS Has a Youth to Washington Winner!

Woodlawn High School Sophomore Rachel Beckham won the opportunity of a lifetime and is going to Washington, D.C.! Rachel had to take a test showing her knowledge of rural cooperatives to participate in the Youth to Washington competition. She will spend the week of June 9-16 in Washington D.C., touring national sites, chatting with Congress, and might even get to see President Donald Trump. Junior Cameron Meredith won 2nd place and he gets to attend the AIEC Annual Meeting in Springfield, Illinois, along with Rachel. Congratulations to Rachel and Cameron! |
